I originally moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1992 to learn about computer electronics. I received my Associates Degree from Hi-Tech Institute of Technology in 1995. While pursuing my degree, I worked for a metal fabrication company. With some hard work, I quickly moved up the ladder into a supervisory position. By the time I graduated from Hi-Tech Institute, I was making a decent
living and couldn't afford to start an entry level position in computer electronics. However, after almost 12 years in the metal fabrication field, it was time for a change. With some serious consideration, I left the metal fabrication field and entered the real estate field.
I started my Real Estate career in 2005. This was quite possibly the worst time to get into this line of work. I was new to a field that was booming. I must admit, it did seem easy to sell a property in that year. But, shortly after the bubble did finally burst and I was in for a difficult road ahead. Nevertheless, I am grateful for this experience. Because of the way
the market has changed, I've had to change the way I work as well. Through the first stages of when the market changed, I entered property management, working with landlords and tenants. Then as the market continued to get worse, it was inevitable that I would be working with short sales and foreclosures. The knowledge I can now relay to my clients in these areas makes all the difference.
When I first entered the real estate field, I was terrified of meeting new people. Whether it was meeting for the first time at a listing appointment, or meeting a potential buyer at the office, it was nerve racking. I came from a metal fabrication field where I was not confronted with selling properties to strangers. Communication was not my best attribute. However, I quickly realized how much fun it was to meet new people and help them find their dream home. I
still might be a little nervous when I meet someone new for the first time, but just knowing that the next house might be "The One", takes those nerves right out!
Now that I've shared a little about myself, I hope you feel comfortable enough to consider working with me. Please feel free to browse the website. You'll find a lot of valuable information.
